How We Met
Jason and I met our freshman year of high school. We did the normal high school dating thing and dated all the way through our sophmore year when my dad was transferred to Hawaii. We decided to break up but about a month later we realized that we couldnt handle it. We did long distance until the end of high school, with both of us making trips to see the other. Jason spent every summer in Hawaii, I came to Florida during Winter Break and he flew out for my Senior Prom. I moved back to Florida to attend Florida State University and the rest is history!
Proposal
After being together for almost six years, we started to obviously talk about marriage. We went to look at rings one weekend and a picked out one that I was absolutely in love with. I knew that it probably wouldnt be too long until he proposed because he is awful at keeping secrets from me but the following week he was acting weird and jumpy so I was getting pretty suspicious. My family came down for parents' weekend and at the Garnet & Gold game that Saturday my mom asked me to go with her to the concessions. I came back to find Jason down on one knee in front of a huge banner that my friends were holding. I ran down the stairs (practically fell) and said Yes!
